Wireless keyboards score high on convenience. You can sit far away from the computer, and yet operate it. A wireless keyboard will always be recommended for people suffering from eye problems due to prolonged exposure to computer screens.

You might be tearing your head impatiently because of this.
If there are other wireless devices around, there could be wireless interference. Your connection will be interfered with signals for other wireless devices causing an input lag. Input lag might not be very evident when typing text, or doing basic stuff with the computer. But wireless computers are not suitable for games.
